While rural Australia accounts for just 10 percent of our population, almost 40 percent of the food which passes through Foodbank is distributed outside our major cities.

Sunday 4 March, ABC Landline showcased how Foodbank collaborates with farmers, manufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers to help vulnerable Australians not only living in rural and regional areas, but all over Australia.

The Landline team started their journey in Adelaide, where they followed Foodbank South Australia to their Riverland warehouse as well as to a few growers and packing sheds. From Adelaide, they travelled to Broken Hill, then through to Dubbo where they met Fletcher International, one of our generous donors in the Foodbank Meat Program.
