We are proud to announce that Comwire IT has come on board as a pro-bono supporter of Foodbank.
As Foodbank has expanded its range of services to get more food to more people in need across SA, we have become increasingly reliant on our IT systems to manage our finances, fundraising, volunteers and food donors. We also identified that some of our staff had a need to be able to access their emails and data from remote locations as they are spending less time in the office, says Foodbank SA CEO, Greg Pattinson.
Comwire IT has been a fantastic partner for Foodbank SA. They have taken the time to understand our needs and have installed our own dedicated wireless network, and have implemented cloud based systems to enable us to access the information we need wherever we are.
As a Not for Profit organization, we cannot afford to employ IT staff. Comwire IT has effectively become our defacto IT Manager, regularly monitoring our systems and hardware and providing recommendations for improvements.
We look forward to a successful partnership with ComwireIT and we are confident that they will help us achieve our goals of getting more food into the community, continues Greg.
Comwire is committed to giving back to the community that we live and work in and we are strong believers that one of the best organisations to give back to, ensuring it has immediate impacts is Foodbank. By helping Foodbank to ensure their IT Systems are working all of the time, we can ensure the team at Foodbank are focused on doing what they do best, supporting the community, says Mark Frahn, CEO Comwire IT
